This project has been made possible thanks to the City of Calgary's microgrants for community based public art projects through the Public Art Program.  

"Moving Pictures" was funded through the generosity of CADA's "Community-Run Public Art" micro grant program.

Kara Artym is a cinematographer and filmmaker from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is passionate about working on content that can invoke social change and to question the status quo and is filming the documentary videos for "Moving Pictures".

Costumes have been graciously provided by the Costume Collective.

Nicole Saxton and Andrea Lister provided all of the hair and makeup for the participants of the Moving Pictures Project.
